A well-known restaurant in Gérardmer, La Clé des Champs has been delighting tourists and locals alike for forty years. This family-owned business was taken over four years ago by Camille Aubert, the founders’ son, and his wife, Morgane. La Clé des Champs offers delicious, homemade regional cuisine: Alsatian-style choucroute garnie, whole duck breast, escalope with morel mushrooms, pierrade, raclette, fondue, and local trout… Here, guests can choose between an extensive menu and a daily special. All dishes are prepared using fresh, high-quality, seasonal ingredients, and the desserts are made on-site by the team’s pastry chef. Conveniently located in the city center on a pedestrian street, nestled in the heart of the mountains and just 500 meters from the lake, La Clé des Champs guarantees a quality meal in a stunning setting! The downstairs dining room can be reserved for private groups, and the service is always warm and welcoming. Expect to spend around 40 euros for a moderate meal—which is excellent value for the money. We’ll definitely be back!
