Description

Delicious Neapolitan pizzas on the lunch or dinner menu at Casa Delle Dolcezze: that’s what Jonathan Courtier offers near the Belgian border and the magnificent Notre-Dame de Mouzon Abbey. These pizzas feature ingredients imported directly from Italy and combinations that are original, to say the least! Be sure to try the Sicilienne (with a base of yellow tomatoes, fiore di latte mozzarella, Venetian provolone, San Daniele ham, fig jam, and roasted almonds) or the “Mortadella” (a base of stracciatella di Bufala, fiore di latte mozzarella, raw mortadella, pistachio cream, and roasted pistachios). In a floral setting inspired by trattorias, complete with a traditional domed oven, you can also sample the excellent homemade paninis and focaccias with the sweet scents of la dolce vita. The desserts are equally irresistible: tiramisu, panna cotta, lemon tartlets, and traditional Campania rum babas. A whole menu of wonderful treats!
