Sponsored Established since November 2022 in the heart of Nice's Golden Square, La Cantine de Mémé restaurant was first founded in Paris, in 2018, by Mehdi Dubrulle before a move to the South. "I've kept the same concept and the same spirit, i.e. a restaurant that's both gourmet and bistronomic, where you're welcomed as if you were at home, as if you were at Mum's. In other words, a friendly, festive atmosphere", explains the owner. With his chef, Inès Ginod, he offers eclectic French cuisine, "colorful and atypical", homemade from fresh and mostly local produce. The small menu changes every two weeks, with new items introduced every week, so that regulars can always discover new flavors. There's a choice of 4 starters, 3 main courses (meat, fish and veggie), 3 desserts and one cheese, all following the rhythm of the seasons. A star starter is always on the menu: the famous veal and herring tartare. For main courses, expect to pay between €22 and €30, and €12 for desserts. Lunch menus only available on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
