At the top of rue Tholozé, just opposite the Moulin de la Galette, beige-rendered "La Belle Maison" offers the charm of an old Parisian bistro. Zinc counter, moleskin banquettes, white tablecloths. Chef Guillaume Henry, formerly of Duvin's, offers traditional bistro-style cuisine: œuf meurette, foie gras, pâté en croûte, steak flambé, chuck, prime rib, rice pudding and chocolate mousse. All washed down with a white saumur from Château Yvonne or a red saint-joseph from domaine Monier Perréal. Very friendly, smiling service from Louis Chérion.
