Far from the pretentious and the copycats, this authentic restaurant, just a stone's throw from the Basilica and ten minutes from the heart of town, offers a lunch menu at around €20, with the best of tradition: an all-you-can-eat buffet of hors d'oeuvres (with celery remoulade, Greek-style mushrooms, charcuterie, herring apples in oil), a dish of the day (a hearty cassolette of Armorican-style mussels with fries the other day, filet mignon of pork with five spices, chicken fillet with mustard sauce ....), a nice dessert (café gourmand, apple pie) and, above all, sincerely kind service. Quite simply, the best place to eat on the Eastern Plateau.
