The Mulhouse-Habsheim airfield, located in the neighboring towns of Habsheim and Rixheim, was once a military base before it became a hub for light aviation events and flying clubs run by enthusiasts, who for years had been missing a welcoming, gourmet spot where they could gather for a drink or a meal. In November 2025, the airfield regained its culinary momentum thanks to Christophe Trouvillé, a pastry chef with 25 years of experience, and his wife Sandrine, who provides a truly warm welcome. Respecting the venue’s history while also striving to let as many people as possible enjoy the exceptional setting alongside the runways—whether indoors or on the terrace—they offer fresh, seasonal cuisine. The menus, which are very reasonably priced, feature appetizers, meat dishes, and fish, as well as hearty salads and succulent desserts and homemade ice cream during the warmer months. Not to mention the takeout lunch boxes prepared by our Chef… as well as cooking classes during the cooler months. In short, this wonderful team attracts a wide range of food lovers and gourmets who also appreciate feeling right at home here—whether they’re aviation enthusiasts or not! Private events available. Open Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. during the warmer months.
