Gault&Millau's review 2025

While activity is at its peak during the truffle-growing months (roughly from December to the end of February), you should also visit this village inn all year round, for the warmth and sincerity displayed by Sandrine and Nicolas Pailhes. With them, the opposite of fussiness and restrictions. You'll have an excellent time with dishes full of frankness, some simple, others more luxurious, like the truffle brouillade or the squab with port wine. Whatever the season, the good-humored approach prevails, and the Rhône wines are very well chosen.
