In downtown La Clusaz, everyone knows L'Écuelle, not least for the richness of its cellar. And it's a brand new team that's been at the helm since this year. The cuisine vacillates somewhat between tapas and main courses, but offers some surprisingly vegetal combinations. There's no point naming dishes here, as you're unlikely to discover them. The chef prefers inspiration to the classics... and changes her proposals very often, even too often. But we advise you to put your trust in her for two reasons: firstly, it's a resolutely original cuisine, far from Instagram standards, in a room animated by a dynamic and friendly troupe, and secondly, for the time being, the prices remain reasonable for La Clusaz, including the remarkable wine selection.
