Chef's Restaurant It's a tribute to Bresse, starting with a view of the Brou monastery just across the road, and ending with an ice cream with green chartreuse and blueberry seeds. Jean-Pierre Vullin's table brings together all the great regional traditions, served in a bourgeois atmosphere of double tablecloths, silverware and fine woods, or delicate porcelain adorned with a rooster. The chef's half-century of experience serves up a timeless cuisine, which is particularly evident in the €69 menu, which includes lobster gratin with saffron Brillat-Savarin, fresh frogs' legs as in Dombes, the unmissable Bresse poularde with Jura Savagnin and Bresse cream, and almond gratin with Jura Comté. Exemplary service, under the direction of Madame Vullin.
