Description

If guests have been flocking to L'Ancolie for 30 years, it's because of the magical view from the vast sunny terrace and the crackling fire in Clémentine Bazile's old alpine chalet. Claude Bazile, her grandson, the famous French skier of the 1992 Winter Olympics, and his wife Lucie, offer unforgettable moments in an exceptional setting. In fine weather, there's a pop rock concert every Tuesday evening. And all year round, the team warmly welcomes you to our gourmet and sincere cuisine, masterfully prepared by Chef Michel Sourd. In addition to the delicious fondues and raclettes created from demi-meules, L'Ancolie is renowned for its duck tournedos with foie gras and fig sauce, or its veal chop with morel mushrooms. The sauces are homemade, as are the desserts. We're particularly fond of the blueberry tart and crème brûlée. L'Ancolie has a very special charm, as Lucie, Claude and their daughter Clémentine live and work here to offer you moments filled with fraternity! Closed Tuesday lunchtimes and Sundays in summer.
