Gourmet Restaurant It took a lot of patience, but they were finally able to open their home. François Szpala, who was awarded the Dotation Gault&Millau in 2021, has realized the project of a lifetime, in this imposing home of local architecture by the canal, acquired by his parents twenty years ago, and which he and his wife Meshair spent two years fitting out to their own ideas. The result lives up to expectations: not only do the couple open a window on the world, the result of their many travels (the evening menu features eight stopovers to take you around the globe), but the modern decor, with wood predominating, and the Zen, relaxing atmosphere, plunge guests into a new dimension. First impressions are favorable with the lathke, potato pancake and sumac yoghurt, very good trout confit with spinach cream, coconut cake with orange blossom syrup in a €26 formula that is widely acclaimed by locals.
