Gault&Millau's review 2025

This pavilion lost in the middle of apartment blocks is aptly named. It's run by two good acquaintances, Alice Di Cagno and Victor Gaillard, who had their first big success at Chatomat in Ménilmontant a few years ago, before traveling around Europe to recharge their batteries. The place is of course absolutely cool, and the cuisine always interesting, even if the fashion for "more product, less cuisine" naturally affects these new-wave enthusiasts. The soft-boiled egg with cream of smoked kohlrabi and dill is a good start, the saithe with amaranth corn and romaine fondue goes down well as a commonplace, the veal breast sautéed with Paimpol coconut and spice-glazed carrot is a delight, before the almond dacquoise with coffee cream and hay whipped cream is right up there with the times. The small wine list is well-priced, with well-selected organic and natural wines, and the hidden terrace at the back is quiet, offering a view of the real life of office buildings.
