For food and lodging in the heart of this pretty, typically Breton village, ring the bell at the former family home of Alain-René Lesage, the 17th-century local philosopher and playwright, now transformed into a hotel-restaurant. Behind the beautiful stone facade, discover the smiling, affable welcome of the owner and his team, the 16 superb, luxurious rooms, plus a lounge and breakfast room. The restaurant, which overlooks the village, offers two gourmet menus created by Chef Paul Vedrenne, who is passionate about local produce. The result? A cuisine as masterful as it is delicious.
