Description

It's an appointment that regulars wouldn't miss for the world! Folie's Café, in the village of Mimizan, brings together everything that makes for a good, convivial meal. Chef Franck Gelas, originally from the Lyon region, joined this address when it was taken over by its new owners in October 2025. He has brought with him a devouring passion for simply good, no-frills cooking, inspired by our traditions and smacking of the love our grandmothers put into it! Franck works according to the seasons and his inspirations, and there's no greater recognition for him than to see empty plates return! The spotlight is on regional cuisine, of course, including IGP duck confit and duck breast, as well as many classic and more innovative delights to enjoy with family and friends: moules marinières, chipirons with Basque sauce, tapas and platters to share à la bonne franquette. At lunchtime, the menu offers a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses and 2 desserts, and in the evening, you can indulge à la carte. Regular themed evenings add flavour to this unique place! Find us on social networks: Facebook (Le-folies-café-Mimizan) and Instagram (@lefoliescafe).
