Gault&Millau's review 2026

A winning quartet: Élodie from l'Aiguillage, Thaïs and Chloé from Chez Jeannette, and David from the capital. All took up the challenge, after the closure of Café Andry, to revive Grenoble's museum restaurant. The location, in the heart of the old town, and the glassed-in loft adjoining the museum are now at the service of a team that favors simple, yet quality bistro cuisine. At lunchtime, you can choose from the cabbage potée menu, or the à la carte beef and carrots; in both cases, the plates are generous, the ingredients local and the flavours delicate. The watchword is conviviality, with dishes to share in the evenings and brunches at weekends. Since opening in November 2025, the concept has won over Grenoble's residents, who have been coming back for more, despite occasional delays in service. The wine list is also very local, at very reasonable prices.
