Chef's Restaurant Winner of the Dotation Gault&Millau, Antoine Villard opened his Dandelion (a tribute to the Stones and the dandelion...) in the spring and is already showing great promise. On the small square next to the Casque d'or garden (another tribute to Simone Signoret), the atmosphere is almost like a provincial village, well suited to the warm bistro format he has created with his partner Morgane, with exposed stone and cement floors. The small menu is appetizing. After much hesitation, we opted for two starters: grilled, lacquered sardines on a bed of spinach and prik pao (chili paste), followed by pan-fried foie gras in a duck broth with shrimp satay. Two fine successes that continue with the very good sweetbreads à la braise, lightly smoked and lacquered, with anchoïade and grilled pointed cabbage, before the semifreddo acacia and cherries with maraschino. The wine cellar is developing, with a very small selection by the glass.
