Gault&Millau's review 2025

In less than a year, Cocotte & Papille has unpretentiously carved out a place for itself on the Castelrenaud landscape. An all-female duo is at the helm, bringing an extra touch of freshness to the village square. Whether it's in the decor or the dishes, such as the spicy red tuna tartare, candied ginger and spicy coleslaw, the lacquered pork ribs, despite a slightly dry meat, sweet potato mousseline and roasted baby vegetables, or the strawberry tartlet, vanilla cream, mint gel and lemon basil sorbet. The wine list is small but effective, with all bottles available by the glass.
