Gault&Millau's review 2025

Near the banks of the Dordogne, a useful bistro that never disappoints. With its warm welcome, ambience and extensive menu of heart-warming dishes of the moment: starters to share, marrow bones, pig's trotters, plancha-grilled duck hearts, big salads (tricandilles, cod aioli...), and solid dishes for deserving workers: veal kidneys in mustard sauce, veal axoa, beef cheek confit in red wine sauce, stuffed piglet shoulder. You can eat well for €50 with a café gourmand, and this treat is well worth a small chef's hat.
