This is the second address for Italia Palladino (Italy over there), a stylish trattoria in Avignon, where the cuisine is as much French as it is Italian. Well-crafted plates, good ingredients, we're right on the mark with the fillet of trout confit in olive oil, the open raviole of beef pot-au-feu style, the back of skrei cockles and broccoli beurre blanc bergamot, the teriyaki chicken burger fried in tempura mayo with garlic confit and smoked provola lemon... Also boards and dishes to share, and Sunday brunch.
