It's a must in the east of Lyon, a large brasserie located in the former train station, with a beautiful old-fashioned decor, white banquettes and tablecloths, and a miniature train running around the room. The summer terrace under the marquise is also very pleasant, offering simple, seriously executed brasserie cuisine, with all the classics: Caesar salad, snails preserved in red wine, pike quenelle with lobster sauce, pan-fried veal liver à la lyonnaise, filet de boeuf à la Rossini, traditional baba au rhum. Efficient service.
