Gault&Millau's review 2026

A venerable half-timbered Norman house, slightly off the beaten path in a quiet setting, perfect for a traditional stay. Chef Mickaël Héroux offers a classic menu with a few modern twists, such as spelt gnocchi with stuffed quail, saffron-sauced quenelles and fennel risotto with monkfish medallions, and a pear-tonka coulis served with a Cluizel chocolate disc. A good set menu for €49 that covers all the essentials. A wine merchant’s cellar with a small selection available by the glass.
