Chef's Restaurant Gilles Choukroun is as happy in his Baca'v as he was in the good old days of Café des Délices, in this setting he has clearly embellished with local and selected artisans, to design a mosaic in the entrance or an engraved mirror, in a very warm setting extended by a terrace on the sidewalk. Today, there's less spice and Mediterranean in his cooking, but a beautiful, French Parisian bourgeois cuisine, with puff pastry, sauces and produce, even if, of course, the chef still has a good sense of seasoning and the right taste. This is evident in his interpretation of the burrata tomato, with fresh vegetables and an addictive vinaigrette, the inspired celery foie gras remoulade, the good pâté en croûte to share as an aperitif, the black pudding and pig's trotter parmentier or the generous, gourmet rabbit and chard pâté with a lovely reduced sauce. Pleasantly lively in the dining room, the cellar is well-stocked with the owner's choice of over 400 references, from today's classics to the latest trends (Da Ros, Pithon, Chidaine...), at a very good price-pleasure ratio.
