The location is charming, in the heart of a small village near the banks of the Aisne River, and also very close to the Clairière de l'Armistice. People have been coming here for years to celebrate special occasions or enjoy a family meal. The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and Ludovic Colpart’s cuisine is always executed with care: foie gras with Espelette pepper and apricot, veal ribeye with pearl-like veal jus and southern French vegetables, a cornucopia of red berries, and vanilla diplomat cream—all part of a delicious set menu for €56. The à la carte menu offers a wide variety of choices. There’s a fine selection of champagnes in a traditional cellar.
