Gault&Millau's review2025
This modest, white fisherman's cottage in the heart of the marshes, on the road to Noirmoutier, is home to a cosy reading corner and restaurant, as well as the generous, creative cuisine of chef Thierry Berthonèche. When it comes to fresh seasonal produce, the menu is short - and that's exactly what it is. Two proposals on the day of our visit, the pan-fried wild eel with lime sauce vierge or the fillet of beef with Penja pepper, cheeses from the Beillevaire house and two good desserts, including the homemade pistachio nougat glacé, are more than enough to satisfy the gourmet. Small wine list, low prices but great service.
