Gourmet Restaurant Travelers on the A6 are well aware of this, as they schedule a buffet stop at La Beursaudière, at the Nitry exit: this rustic Morvan stopover is already a plunge into the vacations. There's plenty of lively, local fare on the menu, served quickly and efficiently: assiette du paysan, oeufs meurette, escargots, andouillette crème d'époisses, trout from Crisenon in a tomato-pineapple broth, chicken supreme stuffed with spinach and mushrooms in the good Batteuses menu at €45, which offers a wide choice of homemade desserts (snow eggs, lemon tartlet...).
