A real country inn, in this big, typical Comtoise house fitted out for entertaining. The terrace settles you into the calm, reassuring atmosphere of the village, and the Terroir menu gets you back on track with its frankness and prodigality: meurette egg with Montbéliard, forest crust, poultry supreme with comté, braised ham with macvin, homemade tart... Specialties include trout from the Loue river in Pontarlier, Comté cheese fondue and "morbiflette". Regional beers and a good list of Jura wines, including those from Fruitière de Voiteur.
