Gault&Millau's review 2026

Gault&Millau already extolled its virtues forty years ago! The timeless "Chez Georges" still serves mâchon at dawn, affirming its support for both traditional, timeless dishes and national products. The menu remains loyal, a little more gentrified than in the past, as success dictates, while respecting a careful preparation: salade lyonnaise, poultry liver cake, skate wing with capers, hot sausage with red wine, apron of sapeur with gribiche sauce, andouillette gratin... For dessert, don't miss the crème caramel, or the praline tart, and accompany it all with coteaux du lyonnais from Petite Gallée.
