Chef's Restaurant The house is magnificent, and very well arranged and preserved in its XIXᵉ manor house style, and l'Anecdote is indeed the fine table in town for business meals and intimate dinners. The €30 lunchtime menu is a great success, and diners return in the evening for the meticulously-crafted dishes prepared by a motivated team: oyster stew, crab with green beans, fried calamari with gribiche sauce, roast sea bass with peaches, veal mignon with mirabelle plums. No frills, just well-processed seasonal produce, cooked and seasoned just right. Desserts range from the fashionable (pavlova) to the regressive (crêpes Suzette). Impeccable service and an interesting wine cellar to suit every budget.
