Gault&Millau's review 2025

It's an atypical house full of symbolism just outside Lens, paying homage to local history and the mining world. Authentic and cheerful, the table recreates the atmosphere with its pickaxes, tarpaulins and logs, its beautiful terrace made of thick wood and its classic Ch'tis dishes, generous and unifying. Young and old, locals and travelers alike, come together for arancini with maroilles, chuck confit with lard, Flemish carbonade, welsh or an iced parfait with speculoos. A convivial atmosphere.
