Chef's Restaurant As we all know, the popularity of Italian cuisine, so easily accessible, is not about to die out. Sormani, the borough's tutelary figure, has understood this well, regaining a somewhat forgotten lustre and winning back its beloved clientele weary of more or less authentic trattorias. On the menu, nothing but goodness and finesse in a timeless ambience: asparagus and stracciatella with wild garlic pistou, the very best carpaccio, veal piccata with lemon and tortellini Alfredo, lasagne with foie gras and truffle, pistachio soufflé by pastry chef Pascal Straderoli. A connoisseur's wine list, with most of the great Italian vineyards represented.
