Chef's Restaurant Ten years after the opening of Rouge Barre, Steven Ramon remains a spearhead for a dynamic Lille generation. The house, firmly rooted in Old Lille, offers a warm atmosphere and a young, multilingual and welcoming team. Seasonal vegetables are given pride of place, perfectly orchestrated around high-quality meats and fish. A case in point is the healthy overdose of crunchy vegetables around the saint-pierre and cockles bathed in their divine grey shrimp jus, or the lovely work on beet combined with peas that magnify the duckling. The plates are beautifully orchestrated, right through to the equally masterful desserts, such as strawberries, passion fruit and basil, which round off a pleasant moment in this emblematic venue on the Lille scene, whose cellar book is an additional treat, for its richness and variety.
