Chef's Restaurant It's always a good idea to have a Burgundian meal outside the walls, in the Beaune countryside. The lobster and truffle menus are a bit of a pushover, but the savoir-faire is obvious and impressive in the 44 € seasonal menu, which mixes genres with mastery: poultry marbré with homemade foie gras and paprika jelly, snail cassolette with bear's garlic cappuccino, veal quasi à la bourgeoise with reduced juices. Good wine cellar on the Côtes de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise, with a number of low-priced wines.
