Just a few minutes from Reims, in the bucolic countryside, Philippe Vazart's restaurant offers a moment of serenity, where you can rediscover the pleasures of the Champagne region. The former coaching inn has preserved its period architecture, but has been reinvented in a contemporary spirit, reflected in the clean lines of the wood and steel terrace, the large bay windows and the chef's inventive dressings. Taste-wise, the intention is traditional, with beautifully crafted French proposals: a salad of roasted langoustines, sucrine and sweet vinaigrette, a filet of Saint-pierre, artichokes poivrade and confit tomatoes, roast pigeon breasts with apricots and rosemary, a hot soufflé with morello cherries. Well-established cellar.
