Gourmet Restaurant Not much in the neighborhood... Would it be of average appeal to the visitor? All the more reason to hold Le Pinceau and give it a helping hand. The bistro setting deserves a refreshment, and the welcome is straightforward, as is the cuisine du jour, rather well done: mussels in escabeche and tomatoes, skate wing cooked with butter and lemon, apricot compote, almond cookie crumble and chantilly. The small cellar is naturally angled (the young woman who greets and serves has everything in mind when it comes to choosing a glass) and prices are reasonable at lunchtime. A few extra dishes in the evening for two formulas, at €45 and €57.
