In a 3* hotel on the banks of the Gartempe, Alban Galpin and his wife run a fine gourmet restaurant, as much in spirit as in decor, a large room with clean lines, ideal for business meals. In this region of fine terroir, the chef pays a memorable tribute to his region, with convincing reinterpretations, a marbré of langoustines, fresh goat's cheese and tart apples, a chowder of cod skrei, scallops and gambas, lamb in three ways, pan-fried rib, rilletted shoulder, tartar filet and lamb jus, a chocolate sphere, guanaja, hazelnuts and praline.
