The chicest party in Monte Carlo takes place at the Grill every day. And Dominique Lory, who oversees the restaurant operations at the Hôtel de Paris, is justifiably proud of his team, who deliver far more than just cuisine worthy of the venue and the superb view of the Mediterranean from this eighth-floor terrace. In fact, the diners—many regulars but also tourists vacationing on the Riviera, among the 80 lucky guests seated at each seating—are just as captivated by the chefs working right before their eyes as they are by the Mediterranean Sea. From this setting come exquisite, meticulously crafted, and reliable dishes—from timeless classics and luxury items like foie gras and caviar to regional specialties such as San Remo gamberoni and coral-infused juices, Mentons’ lemon-infused squid and shellfish risotto, and locally caught fish served with a Niçoise-style garnish… A lively service, and access to the restaurant’s extensive wine cellar, rich in selections from across the South of France and the major regions, featuring luxury labels.
