A small, quiet village, a Gascon inn, a reputation spanning several decades: of course, we must champion the Florida—its history, but above all its continued existence and its current commitment to defending and protecting its local heritage. For example, with the excellent “Gasconha” menu—semi-cured foie gras with chutney, grilled duck breast with zucchini, hazelnuts, and roast jus, and a mirabelle plum, citrus, and jasmine crown—all served in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. A well-stocked regional wine cellar, featuring a wide selection of Côtes de Gascogne PGI wines, and dedicated, efficient service.
