Just a stone's throw from the Gallo-Roman theater, on the heights of Fourvière, Christian Têtedoie offers not only a breathtaking view, but also a delightful culinary experience at his chic bistro, a popular alternative to his gastro on the same site. The €27 "mes producteurs, mes cuisiniers" menu, available weekdays, is a convincing choice, offering accomplished, well-worked dishes, including a very surprising white beer, peanut and lemon dessert. The €42 menu-card, meanwhile, offers more sophisticated dishes, including a pleasant scallop tartare, pear-conference and Verona red salad. Service can be a little nonchalant, and the wine list is mainly regional and organic.
