Gourmet Restaurant It's a beautiful building on a hill; you can get there on foot. On horseback, by car. By bike too: the Véloscénie passes below. It's announced by a sign on the side of the departmental road between Mortagne au Perche and Rémalard. Was it because the chef was in the dining room rather than behind her pianos? The meal didn't quite live up to our expectations. The place is welcoming and friendly, right in the middle of the Perche's golden triangle; no doubt a good time, after a day patrolling the hollows of the hills, or during the lunch break. Some nice wines, plates with no major flaws (a decent skewer of black pudding with figs, smoked bacon, meat jus, duck fillet a little undercooked, beet purée with balsamic, shavings of coloured beet, small vegetables, fig and honey dessert). Pleasant, natural service.
