There's nothing particularly glamorous about the avenue, except for those who know how to find this good address, which is actually very close to the town center. A real cellar, a real kitchen, a real chef - that's all you need, especially as the chef's hat has been maintained with panache for years. And if the prices seem a little high, at €58 for the full sequence, the quantity and quality are enough to persuade you otherwise: pan-fried scallops with chimichurri sauce, turbot fillet s'y laisse de poulet girolles gnocchis et jus de viande (or a very good paleron confit purée de céleri et jus truffé), baba bouchon rhum and chantilly. Over 100 references on the wine list, a good lunch menu at €29.
