Chef's Restaurant Those less than 20 years old probably don't remember that Gilles Charpy was elected Grand de Demain in our 2000 issue (he was then at the helm of the Domaine de la Bretesche), but what does it matter, since he's completely turned the page and is now having the time of his life at home in Pontchâteau. Lunchtime is €27 for a full menu (€19 without starter or dessert), evening €35, but the spirit remains the same, that of a cuisine close to the product, both simple and meticulous.
