Gault&Millau's review2025
On the heights of the Vienne valley, not far from Limoges, Michel and Laurent Breuil's restaurant is located in the middle of a small four-hectare park, which is particularly attractive when viewed from the terrace in season. The cuisine is fresh, tasty and inventive, like the scallop carpaccio with green apple yuzu and roasted hazelnuts, the duck pot au feu in gentian broth served with pan-fried foie gras escalope and grapefruit condiment, or the pan-fried quail supremes with reduced juice and port deglaze. The house salmon is famous with its horseradish cream and sesame waffle. Good small selection of wines by the glass and active service.
