Gourmet Restaurant Just across from Place de Lenche, in the highly Instagrammable Panier district, a pretty, pointed terrace gives you a front-row seat. Behind this restaurant, which opened in autumn 2023 (it was previously Schilling), two young locals we'd already spotted in Allauch at La Quinta (a semi-gastro right next to the new filming location for "Plus Belle la Vie") are at it again here. While chef Antonio Antoni supervises the menu from the hills, Adam Tarbi is there, ready to welcome you with a smile and a desire to do well. The formula is still being tested and needs to be run in a few times, as the dishes don't always arrive hot, especially as everything is laid out at the same time... ready to be "pités" (shared in Marseille) with friends over a few long drinks or glasses of Provence. To piter, a few little brocciu fritters, a little fried tartar sauce, or these rosemary-infused panisses. For main courses, a teriyaki-lacquered bluefin tuna mi-cuit with a piquillo condiment is a good alternative. A few planks of charcuterie will be the ideal excuse for those who don't want to stay too long at the table. For dessert, panettone French toast with vanilla ice cream, or a creamy coffee tiramisu. The wine list is a little too limited to wines from Provence and the Luberon, but some very nice cocktails will keep you happily "psyched". A good start for this cheerful, colorful address.
