A splendid 3* hotel on the banks of the Dordogne, Régis Ongaro's house is a small haven of peace, with historic stonework and a certain comfort. In this classic period setting - with its milled-wood furniture, exposed beams, fireplace and mirrors - the bourgeois table setting reflects the care and tradition of the place, and the local produce can be found on the plate. On the menu, you'll find the inevitable foie gras, farm chickens stuffed with mushrooms and sweet potatoes, and rum baba. Attentive service.
