Chef's Restaurant As in other Alsatian towns, Obernai offers the visitor every possibility. Already in awe of the region's architecture, they can enjoy pure Alsatian fare in the winstubs, haute gastro in the grand style, and promising young tables like that of Antoine Botter and Frédéric Voné. Modernity on the plate and in the setting, ideas and a passion for finding the right product where it's found and not necessarily in front of the door, this is a philosophy that appeals to us: crab cucumber granny-smith and caviar, cod grapefruit potato and coconut velouté, lamb apricot mint and almond, all well-constructed plates from a well-balanced €67 menu to the pear tonka dessert. Frédéric manages the service and looks after the cellar, which is also focused on new generations and winegrowers who do well. Good menus from €39 to €96.
