Gault&Millau's review2026
Below Saint-Maclou Cathedral, Naoëlle d'Hainault's restaurant offers a large, elegant dining room with a view of the glassed-in kitchen and cellar. The chef offers a 6-course carte blanche tasting menu at €110, including a number of signature dishes. Fresh starters include colorful tomatoes, stracciatella espuma, watermelon and pineapple tomato coulis; semi-cooked langoustines, avocado cream and daikon radish rosette; and lobster glacé with reduced juice on a roasted quinoa galette, drizzled with hazelnut butter foam; for meat, we serve a pressed 7-hour lamb shoulder with ras el hanout spices, creamy carrot and chickpeas, a little less exciting; then the chef proposes a worked fromage frais and the meal ends with a "peanut effect". The service is friendly and efficient, and the food is accompanied by a very attractive wine list, well commented on by the chef's husband, a former sommelier in some of the world's top restaurants.
