An old-fashioned bistro with undeniable cachet and an atmosphere that's as pleasant as ever, with its small wooden tables, Fischels and cheerful elbow-to-elbow conversation. At the helm is Rachid Amzali, a skilled roaster with a genuine love of good produce and good cooking. His award-winning mayo egg is remarkable, his sea bass with yuzu butter and pea risotto is a model of balance, and his desserts, all classics, are perfectly executed. Good little cellar.
