Original Restaurant Rijsel is, of course, Lille in Flemish, a way of enticing customers with the promise of authenticity. And it works: the welcome is warm and friendly, the specialities are plentiful, and the staff are happy to advise you, rather in big appetite format to really get to know each other: shrimp croquettes, various pâtés, salads and platters, welsh, andouillette, potjevleesch (we promise you "the real thing"), rabbit in mustard sauce. All the Flemish folklore in one dish with the "trio" carbonade - potjevleesch - welsh at €23.90. A good list of draught beers and bottles from both sides of the Quiévrain.
