Gourmet Restaurant An interesting novelty that deserves some encouragement. Because the cuisine is essentially French, somewhere between Lyonnais, bistro and bourgeois, and there's a real desire to do well at tight prices. A good menu at €24 or the menu-card offering exploration for €34: ravioles du Royans (we'll forgive the usual prepositional error) cream of mushroom, lamb pavé with cardoon gratin, poached pear in red wine, white chocolate and raisin crumble. The wood-panelled dining room looks great, and the atmosphere is warm and informal.
