Chef's Restaurant When Georges Blanc's visitors to Vonnas are lucky enough to stay for a day or two, they make a point of having at least one meal at the Ancienne Auberge. After the treasures of the grand gastro, this comforting visit to Bresse's terroir also does a lot of good: the snails, the gâteau de foies blonds, the frogs, the quenelle de brochet and the poultry are there to please. The service is attentive, the place comfortable and the cellar well-stocked.
