On the village square, just a few dozen meters from the main restaurant, the Auberge brings together all the friends of Georges Blanc and his Bresse cuisine—generous and sometimes even opulent. It is here that the tradition of the timeless dishes emblematic of the “Blanc village” and its cuisine—which has stood the test of time—is kept alive: œuf meurette; Élisa Blanc’s “gâteau de foies blonds,” pike quenelles with lobster sauce, spit-roasted Bresse poultry, and Vonnassian crêpes, frog legs with parsley—nothing is missing, and all that’s left to do is indulge, perhaps with the owner’s wines from the Mâconnais region, for example.
